We wanted to combine our Indian and Scottish heritage by creating our own tartan which is incorporated on the front cover of The Noisy Night and The Lost Hat.
Buff and Strawberry Adventures are a series of rhyming picture books that empower the acceptance and responsible expression of big emotions in children. They focus on consequence so that children can understand how their words and actions may impact themselves and others around them, helping to foster compassion and empathy.

A short series of picture books for young readers to explore and accept big emotions, ranging from anger to anxiety. The books share many ways to express these emotions, be that through colour, music or movement. Starring Buff the Highland Cow and Strawberry the Shetland Pony.

Meet Buff, our highland coo. That's right, not cow! Coo originates from the Scottish Highlands, where the breed is native and they are known as Coo.
Buff is a big, strong and tough highland coo that sometimes feels lonely but feels more at home amongst the flowers over the big, cold hills.
Buff's special friend is Strawberry.
Meet Strawberry our Shetland pony. Strawberry is a shy, small and quiet pony but has a big heart full of love and a mind that is very wise.
Their friendship balances each other perfectly where emotions are important to both of them. Their bond is rooted in understanding each others hearts.
She saves Buff's favourite toy, Stormy the Dino-Bear.
