Visiting the Frankfurt book fair was worth it. Just got my hands on the pre-release copy of the Dark Side of Food. It got me excited. The anticipation is real, and I’m counting down the days until its official release. The plot and character seem so well thought out and put together. We can’t wait to find out what happens necxt and where the authors are going to take the story.

The subject matter you are addressing here is vitally important, and I think you’ve addressed it in a very accessible way that will resonate with a young adult audience. The Buddyhood is a wonderful, diverse circle of passionate folks. I loved the representation here. The artwork is fantastic and very well suited to the story.

I loved how the authors managed to incorporate relatable things and managed to make everything lead up to the end without confusing the reader. I would definitely recommend this to other readers who enjoy a bit ofsci-fi as a graphic novel.

You’ve created a unique way to tell the story of the downfalls of plastic surgery and the fashion world. I admire the work you’re doing and the charities you’re supporting. I spent a good amount of time looking on your website to learn more about your long-term goals and I am very impressed!

ANON

This book really brings back the retro charm of a comic but has a timely and important message for the youth of today. Written in such an engaging way, with brilliant illustrations, the book celebrates diversity and has a real triumph David v Goliath storyline. A must read for young teenagers! Looking forward to the following books in this series!

What Iloved most about the book is the social awareness it is trying to bring to the toxic nature of social media. The book shows that good can win over the evil and there can be good social media in the world, we just need to be aware.

Cassie R

The idea of the Buddyhood while not traditional superheroes give off a very superhero vibe, this group is here to save the day. The novel is able to have these elements without being super cliché about it.

Ryczek C

This is something I would buy and treasure with my family passing down the stories over and over again each year.

Christina Yother

This book is a wonderful way to count down the days before Christmas as a family. Itis rich with descriptive imagery, fun, mystery, and powerful parables that will appeal to young and old alike. This will be a treasured addition to beloved holiday traditions.

Christina Yother

Recommended by a friend. Pirates, a dragon, Christmas and fables - what more could you want?! Read some of the ebook with the kids (6 and 8) - plenty of adventure and some nice talking points around the stories. Will look very neat in paperback… for Christmas please!

The Lost Hat
I love the lesson of the story and how you show such a lovely friendship. Even friends get frustrated sometimes. By having Strawberry show that not only can they solve the issue of the missing hat, but then having her come up with a solution so it doesn’t happen again, was a great moment! You give good imagery, maintain the rhyming throughout, and show the before, during, and after in terms of plot! Well done!

Anon

The Noisy Night
More lovely imagery! Nights can be scary for children –indoors or outdoors. I like how you tackle this idea of fear while stillshowing such safety in the moment. Again, you show the plot progression perfectly. You introduce the scene, show the chaos, and then wrap it up with a lesson children will understand!
